Urban Invasive Species Removal
• 150 Mountbatten Drive, Hamilton Ontario L9C 3V5, Canada
About
We need your help to remove invasive Common Buckthorn from Rolston Community Forest in Captain Cornelius Park! Volunteers have spent several years working to remove this invasive shrub with impressive results, but there’s still lots to do. Join us at our weekly Thursday work sessions and improve a local urban woodlot.
The work will be focused primarily on invasive shrub removal (hand-pulling, weed wrenches, digging, girdling). We will provide all the equipment but feel free to bring your own gloves.
Email Jen at land@hamiltonnature.org for directions and meeting location.
