Bugs & Blooms Act 1
• 397 York Blvd, Hamilton Ontario L8R 3L1, Canada
About
Join lead gardener Jean Jacobs and Noah Stegman of McMaster Nature for an engaging exploration of seasonal native flowers and the pollinators that depend on them. Together, we’ll visit the York Boulevard garden (established in 2015) a vibrant space featuring a mix of full sun, partial sun, and shaded raised beds, all set against a striking mural backdrop.
The Pollinator Paradise Project is a collaborative initiative between the Hamilton Naturalists’ Club and Butterflyway Hamilton, working to create a connected corridor of native plantings across the city. This growing network provides essential food and habitat for pollinators, while also enhancing neighbourhood beauty and fostering a strong sense of community pride.
Street parking is limited; alternative forms of transportation or carpooling are strongly recommended.
This is a child-friendly event, and a colouring station will be provided.
