About

Interested in learning how to identify and remove invasive Common Buckthorn? Want to participate in a weekly stewardship session at Bruleville Nature Park?

Join us for our volunteer training event to learn how to identify invasives found in this urban forest, best management practices, and how to use tools like an extractigator.

All tools and equipment will be provided. Dress for the weather with close-toed shoes and bring work gloves if you have them.

This event takes place on forest trails with uneven ground, tree roots, rocks, and possible mud. Surfaces are not paved and may be slippery. No washrooms on site. If taking public transit, a transit subsidy is available upon request.
