Step inside the Whitehern Historic House & Garden to learn about the McQuesten family's personal experiences with mental health, caregiving, and family support. Focusing on the life of Margaret Edna, the youngest McQuesten daughter, the guided tour will draw on historical archives to explore some of the family's mental health experiences, coping mechanisms, caregiver fatigue, social stigma, and how socio-economic status in the late 19th and 20th centuries impacted their access to care. Following the tour, participants can enjoy a wellness activity in the Stable and stroll through the beautiful garden.
