Join us for a social walk through the property known as “The Hermitage”. Visit the stone house and outbuildings, which now exist as ruins after the property burned almost completely in October of 1934. Today, the Hermitage is part of the Hamilton Conservation Area (HCA) trail system and still holds a legacy of rich history and a spooky ghost story.
Meet at the head of Sawmill Trail maps.app.goo.gl/cNWnF3iNepwypqen6
The walk will be approximately 3 km in length and will include sections of the Sawmill Trail and the Bruce Trail. We may encounter some areas of difficult terrain, so closed-toe footwear is recommended.
There is a per vehicle entrance fee of $11.50 if you do not have a HCA Membership Pass.
We strongly encourage you to dress up in your Halloween Costume!
