Celebrate Halloween throughout Downtown Dundas on Saturday, October 31, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Explore merchants’ scarecrow displays, join the costume march and enjoy costume contests for children, groups and pets. The programme includes Mr. Ben’s Music Show, games, free hot apple cider and trick-or-treating at participating businesses after the parade. Local eateries also take part in a Pumpkin Spice Challenge.
Outdoor events and walking tours are free and open to the public. Check the Downtown Dundas BIA for the detailed activity schedule.
The celebration also includes Friday, October 30: a Haunted Dundas guided walking tour with local history, folklore and ghost stories. Sunday, November 1: live jazz by the Glenn Paul Trio and a sidewalk sale. Hours for these Friday and Sunday activities, and the tour’s meeting point, have not yet been published.
Check the BIA for the confirmed Pumpkin Spice Challenge date before planning your visit: its Saturday programme includes the challenge, while newer local coverage describes it as a Sunday activity. BIA updates: .
