Kat Clewley will attempt to run 100 km backwards at the Ray Lewis Track & Field Centre in support of Good Shepherd’s Steps to Health program. The public is invited to come by, cheer her on and try retro-running on the track from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For every public lap completed, $1 will be donated to Good Shepherd. Vendors, booths and refreshments are also planned.
Kat plans to begin her record attempt at 6 a.m., with an estimated finish around 9 p.m. Those are approximate challenge times; the public event and track participation run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
