Jupiter and Saturn are each larger than every other planet in the solar system combined, both mostly made of thick layers of gas rather than the rocky surfaces of home. Join us on a tour of these planets, learning about their storms larger than Earth that last for centuries, magnetic fields so strong that they could break your computer within minutes, unexplained hexagons, mysterious “fuzzy cores”, rain made from the same element that makes up our balloons, the surprisingly recent and violent origin of Saturn’s rings, and how Jupiter could be responsible for life on Earth.
All ticket sales are final. Please use our Directions page for information on parking and getting to the planetarium.
A note that this show is not specifically designed for kids – if you are interested in a show designed for a younger audience, please consider our Introductory Astronomy for Kids options (typically on the first Wednesday or the third Saturday of each month).
