Join host Karen Thornton for a mesmerizing evening of music celebrating the timeless songs of The Beatles. Featuring outstanding local performers Nancy Walker , John Neudorf , and Robyn Black , this show reimagines the Fab Four’s greatest hits with a jazz twist.
MEET THE PERFORMERS
Nancy Walker is an acclaimed pianist and composer honored with the Montréal Jazz Festival’s Grand Prix de Jazz, Keyboardist of the Year at the National Jazz Awards, and a place in the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame. A two-time JUNO nominee (2006, 2026), she is celebrated as a soloist, collaborator, and side player for artists like Kirk MacDonald, Emilie-Claire Barlow, and Raffi. Her recent work includes co-producing John Neudorf’s Here’s To Life (2024) and performing on Sarah Jerrom’s JUNO-nominated Magpie (2025). Her latest leadership project, Deeper Down , is a 2026 JUNO nominee for Jazz Album of the Year (Solo), featuring her original compositions alongside Tara Davidson, Lauren Falls, and Ethan Ardelli. Embark on a musical journey with John Neudorf , a seasoned force in the industry for the past three decades. His latest album, “Here’s To Life” showcases a collection of covers and original tunes, which reflect John’s most meaningful life experiences. John is receiving consistent spins on JazzFM for his tracks “Red Clay” and “Tomorrow Never Knows,” and recently marked the tremendous success of his album launch party at Red Stone Winery. With a blues foundation as deep as his jazz improvisations, John’s performances are an explosive fusion of scat, warm phrasing, and an unmistakable passion for his craft. A marvel not to be missed, John Neudorf captivates audiences with every note.
Robyn Black is a Canadian vocal powerhouse with over two decades of experience as a singer, songwriter, and session vocalist. Raised in Montreal and Vancouver by parents in the musical theatre world, Robyn began her career in stage productions and released the successful pop single “Freaky”. She has since shared stages with icons like Marc Jordan and Alessia Cara, and provided vocals for major global brands and productions including Disney and Nickelodeon. While continuing to perform with bands like Oakland Stroke and George St. Kitts, Robyn also works as a full-time teacher and enjoys family time in Toronto.
