An eccentric group of six overachievers vies for the spelling championship of a lifetime in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! Guided by an equally quirky trio of adult moderators, each student candidly discloses hilarious and touching stories from their personal lives as they spell their way through a series of increasingly bizarre words. Packed with quick-witted comedy, heart, and unforgettable musical numbers, this Tony Award–winning show celebrates the joy, agony, and awkward charm of growing up.
