Join us for Eden: A Field Guide to Botanical Wonders, an art exhibition by Gina Jacklin. The exhibition features Jacklin’s ceramic work developed from close examination of biological systems. The exquisite sculptural forms reflect processes of germination, sprouting and growth. A cancer diagnosis, however, furthered her interest in scientific imaging and the otherworldly possibilities of seeing through a microscope. Appearing almost abstract, these works celebrate the deep created order within forms we take for granted.
Opening Reception: November 12, 5 – 7 p.m.
Artist Talk: November 17, 11 a.m.
Exhibition Dates: November 12, 2026 – January 14, 2027
As Jacklin explains, “I am captivated by the process of translating scientific imagery into sculptural artworks that, through their captivating design, complexity and textural features, strive to capture a sense of awe, wonder and imagination.”
