Join the Downtown Dundas BIA at Memorial Square on Friday, November 27 at 6:30 p.m. for the annual tree-lighting ceremony, a visit from Santa, free hot apple cider and family-friendly entertainment. Memorial Square is at the corner of Sydenham Street and King Street West.
The ceremony opens the Dickens of a Christmas holiday programme in Downtown Dundas. The BIA describes it as Canada’s oldest tree-lighting ceremony. Allow about 90 minutes for the ceremony, Santa visit and entertainment. The estimated finish is 8 p.m.; the BIA has confirmed the 6:30 p.m. start but has not published an end time.
