About

Don’t miss this unique chance to explore Whitehern Historic House and Garden at your own pace! Enjoy a self-guided tour of this mid-19th-century urban estate, with knowledgeable staff stationed throughout the museum to answer your questions. Built in 1848 and expanded in the 1930s, Whitehern was lovingly maintained by the McQuesten family for three generations. Step back in time as you discover original furnishings from the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian eras, set against the backdrop of Thomas B. McQuesten’s 1930s political career.

Free admission.
