The Christie Lake Dragon Boat Festival brings Alkame's race series to Hamilton's Bayfront Park for a full day of dragon boat competition on the waterfront.

Teams will race a 200m heat, 200m finals by division, a 2000m final, a Back It Down race, a Mystery Race, and a Figure-8 race. Race headquarters are expected to open around 7:00 a.m., with the first crews marshalled around 7:45 a.m. A full race schedule is expected closer to the event date.

Spectators can watch crews compete from the park, cheer on participating teams, and look for food, drink, and merchandise vendors on site. Parking is available at Bayfront Park but limited, so walking, biking, transit, carpooling, or rideshare are encouraged.
