Join Hamilton Amateur Astronomers after hours at Binbrook Conservation Area for the annual Perseid Meteor Shower Night. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for meteor watching, look through telescopes provided by HAA members, and enjoy children’s educational activities. Admission is free.
The conservation area normally closes at 8:00 p.m. For this special event, HAA volunteers will meet visitors at the main Harrison Road gate and direct them to parking and the viewing area.
This event is weather-dependent. Check the organizer’s website before travelling; if conditions force a cancellation, HAA expects to post an update by noon on August 8.
