Explore Ancaster Village on a free, self-guided Gnome Quest running from August 3 through Thanksgiving. Find eight gnomes at participating businesses, record each gnome's name and symbol in the passport, then solve the secret word and submit the completed entry.
A separate Golden Gnome window hunt offers bonus prize entries, with weekly clues dated August 3 through October 5. No purchase is required for either activity.
Passports and Golden Gnome trackers are available from participating Village businesses and the Ancaster Village BIA office at 314 Wilson Street East. Because the hunt is self-guided across public and business locations, no daily hours are imposed; individual business hours vary.
