The 2026 Canadian CIT Summit brings crisis-intervention professionals to Hamilton under the theme “Forging Partnerships Through Community.” More than 50 workshops, keynote and general sessions, awards, networking and exhibits will explore crisis intervention, community mental health, Indigenous-informed practice and cultural safety, harm reduction, healthcare integration, and service delivery in rural and remote communities.
The summit is intended for CIT practitioners and coordinators, mental health professionals, law-enforcement leaders, mobile crisis-response teams, peer-support specialists, Indigenous community leaders and cultural advisors, healthcare administrators, policymakers and researchers. One-day registration is $275 CAD. Full registration is $625 CAD for CIT International members, $600 CAD for certified CIT coordinators and $750 CAD for non-members; additional restricted and add-on rates are available through the organizer.
