The Winona Peach Festival is a late-summer favourite that brings a fun, easygoing festival weekend to Winona Park. Expect midway rides, live entertainment, arts and crafts, food vendors, and all the peach treats people look forward to each year, including pies, cobbler, and the festival's well-known Peach Sundae.
It is a great pick for a casual wander, a family outing, or a classic summer festival stop with friends. The festival is volunteer-run and community-focused, with plenty to browse, snack on, and enjoy throughout the grounds.
Admission is free. Festival hours are Friday, August 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday, August 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday, August 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Entry to the park ends at 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The grounds will be fenced, with bag checks and metal detectors at the five public entrances.
Advance-sale Midway coupons are available July 24 through August 27. The published advance price is 26 coupons for $50, which the organizer advertises as a 23% saving compared with festival-weekend prices. Coupons are available at Winona Gardens and, cash only, at Winona Park on Thursday, August 27 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Official festival parking is at Winona Community Centre, Highway 8 at Winona Road, for $20 per vehicle. This is a park-and-walk lot. The organizer separately publishes free HSR Route 58 festival service from Eastgate Square.
Independently operated nearby parking options are also available and are not managed by or affiliated with the Winona Peach Festival. St. John’s Anglican Church, 1285 Highway 8, offers parking for $15 per vehicle with no shuttle. Puddicombe Farms, 1468 Highway 8, offers $15 shuttle parking on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; proceeds support a local not-for-profit organization.
