Art Crawl is a monthly James Street North tradition and one of Hamilton's favourite nights out. On the second Friday of the month, the street comes alive with gallery openings, local art, music, shopping, food, drinks, and a steady flow of people moving from stop to stop through the neighbourhood.

It's an easy event to enjoy at your own pace, whether you're planning a full evening on James North or just dropping in for part of the night. The atmosphere is social, creative, and distinctly Hamilton, with something new to discover from one block to the next.

Art Crawl usually gets going around 5:00 pm and carries on late into the evening. From May through October, part of James Street North is often closed to cars between York Boulevard and Murray Street, turning the area into a pedestrian-focused street party.

If you're nearby, walking, cycling, or taking HSR is a great way to arrive. If you're coming from out of town, West Harbour GO and Hamilton Centre GO are both convenient options for getting close to the action.
