This improv music intensive is aimed at anyone wanting to test their improv vocal cords or improve their singing chords. The intensive is a learning through fun musical experience. You teacher will lead the class through vocal exploration using bespoke improv song exercises, games and performance tips. Focus-in on details like rhyming, rhythm, melody and emotion, and zoom-out to see the big picture: learn how it all comes together based on the needs of the scene you find yourself in. Practice games, scene-into-song, and more. This 3 hour session has 1 break.

If you are looking to develop your musical improv accompaniment skills this is the workshop for you. David has more than a decade of musical accompaniment experience at Second City, and is actively workings as a musical director at Belt Improv in Ottawa.

Your instructor is David Tosh. David has worked for many years as a musical director at Second City Toronto. David is actively performing musical improv in Ottawa and is an accomplished composer touring as an electro-pop rocker around the world.
