IDIOTEQUE PERFORMS THE BENDS IN HONOUR OF ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY

Idioteque performs Radiohead’s The Bends in its entirety — plus a whole lot more! Radiohead’s classic 1995 album The Bends turned 30 last year, and we want to keep the celebration going! Besides (obviously) "Creep", it was really The Bends that launched Radiohead into wider public awareness, with huge hits like "Just", "Fake Plastic Trees", "High And Dry", and "Street Spirit". The band emerged as a more highly developed oddball art rock superpower, tapping into feelings of disillusionment, anti-consumerism, and frustration, while weaving them into inviting and powerful song arrangements, at once beautiful and angsty. Now, as their fourth full-album tribute project, Idioteque will perform the entirety of The Bends , note-for-note, top-to-bottom — plus a whole opening set of favourites from the rest of Radiohead’s vast catalogue, B-sides, and rarities. Don't miss this one!

Idioteque is Don Scott (lead vocals, guitar), Jessica Stuart (guitar, vocals), Charles Tilden (guitar, vocals), Teri Parker (keyboards), Liam Smith (bass), and Ernesto Cervini (drums, vocals). Founded in 2010, Toronto’s best and busiest musicians dare to take on Radiohead’s most challenging material and all the classic hits, accurately recreating true-to-recorded versions, spanning all of Radiohead’s studio albums, plus some B-sides, rarities, and Radiohead side projects. Selling out the majority of shows they play, Idioteque blows audiences away with their high-energy performances, attention to detail, and passion for the music. Idioteque has presented several special projects, including entire album performances on their significant anniversaries, epic tributes to the ’90s MTV Unplugged series, featuring all-acoustic arrangements alongside string quartet, horns, and much more!
