Looking for something fun and creative to do with your kids? Join award-winning local artist Israa Ahmed for a hands-on acrylic painting workshop for the whole family at Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum .
With guidance from Israa Ahmed, participants in this painting workshop will explore colour, shape, texture, and composition as they create their own masterpieces. Through step-by-step instruction, learn simple techniques like colour mixing, brush control, and layering with room for your own creativity. No experience is needed, and all art supplies are provided, so all you need to bring is your imagination!
Meet Your Instructor
Israa Ahmed is an award-winning emerging artist (City of Hamilton Arts Awards 2024) and art instructor based in Hamilton. She works primarily with acrylics, oils, and acrylic inks, and her artwork has been presented in both solo and group exhibitions, as well as through community-based and institutional collaborations across the city.
