The Dundas Duck Derby sends 1,000 numbered rubber ducks into Spencer Creek at 11:00 a.m., starting at the Ogilvie Street Bridge and finishing near the Thorpe Street Bridge. Spectators are welcome in the designated viewing area at the southwest corner of the Metro Dundas Valley parking lot, 15 Governors Road.
Duck adoptions are $20 each or three for $50, with proceeds supporting local community initiatives. Spectators do not need to adopt a duck. Online duck sales close at midnight on Friday, September 25, and purchasers must be 18 or older and located in Ontario.
A family-friendly post-race celebration is also planned at Amica Dundas, 50 Hatt Street, with food for purchase, games, music and a live stream of the race conclusion. The celebration is included here as programme information because the organizer has not published a finish time. There is no event parking at Amica; use nearby municipal lots or permitted street parking.
