Community Renewal Project Event & E-Waste Pickup

We’re recruiting volunteers with CommUNITY pride to help as put the shine on Waterdown Village. Join neighbours and friends in a fun event cleaning and preparing the Village for summer.

Spring into action as part of the ‘Clean-up’ crew, picking up litter and winter debris. Or dig in as part of our Green Thumb crew, preparing Village garden beds for summer blooms. For the Green Thumb crew, no gardening experience is necessary – just a willingness to play in the dirt and learn from our expert partners at the Flamborough Horticultural Society.

Clean up supplies (gloves and bags) provided.

BYOGT (gardening tools) if you have a favourite rake or spade. Cotton gloves will be provided to Green Thumb crew or bring your favourite work gloves from home.

This is a great opportunity for students to earn volunteer hours, for gardening enthusiasts without their own patch of dirt to tend, or for families looking to work outside and give back together.

A limited supply of swag (including some T-shirts and water bottles) will be available on a first come basis. If you participated and have T-shirt from last year, don’t forget to wear it to show your CommUNITY pride.

Check in at 9 AM. Clean up zones to be assigned at registration.
