About The Children’s Garden Project
The Children’s Garden Project , located within Hamilton’s Gage Park, is an imaginative, child-led space where local children can play, garden, connect with nature, and learn about the natural world.
Our organization was born in 2021, when local children dreamed of having a shared garden space to call their own during the pandemic. This dream blossomed into The Children’s Garden , where every seed, flower, and veggie is planted and cared for by children and their families.
We believe that garden spaces and environmental education should be accessible to every child in Hamilton. To ensure this, our volunteer-led organization is committed to keeping all of our programming FREE and open to all.
