The Cartoon Foundry a free, not-for-profit cartoon arts festival in its 4th year of operation. This year Cartoon Foundry showcases over 40 cartoonists, graphic novelists, comic and fanzine creators, animators, etc. We have a number of panels featuring artists such as Seth, Fiona Smyth, Joe Ollmann, and Ho Che Anderson followed by Q&A sessions and signings. There will be a panel discussing the hit TVO show “Prisoners of Gravity” with former host Rick Green and animator Ty Templeton. We will also screen the documentary "Behind the Castle Doors: The Origin of the Hilarious House of Frightenstein" about the cult classic CHCH TV show starring Billy Van and featuring Vincent Price. This documentary will be introduced by the directors and producer Mitch Markowitz frollowed by a Q&A. Cartoon Foundry 2026 will take place on Sunday, June 28 from 10am to 5pm at Mohawk College, Fennel Campus, F-Wing with no charge complimentary parking. Come and meet area creators, see what new items they have, get them signed and talk with them—we’d love to see you!
