Ancaster Fair returns to Ancaster Fairgrounds from September 24 to 27, 2026, bringing four days of agricultural exhibits, vendors, food, entertainment, competitions, and community traditions to Jerseyville.
The agricultural fair includes midway rides, livestock shows, homecraft and agricultural exhibits, local food, live entertainment, family attractions, and the demolition derby.
The 2026 event is the 176th Ancaster Fair.
Gate hours are Thursday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Buildings remain open until 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and until 6 p.m. Sunday.
Thursday admission is $5 for adults and seniors with a non-perishable food donation, $5 for children from Kindergarten to Grade 8, and free for preschool children. A Ride All Night bracelet is $40.
Friday admission is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors age 60 and older. Children from Kindergarten to Grade 8 enter free before 4 p.m. and pay $5 after 4 p.m.; preschool children enter free.
Saturday and Sunday admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors age 60 and older, and $5 for children from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Preschool children enter free.
Weekend passes are $35 for adults, $25 for seniors and youth age 13 to 17, and $10 for children age 5 to 12.
HST is included. Midway rides are sold separately. Gatehouse purchases accept debit or credit only, and parking at the fairgrounds is free.
HSR special shuttle service is planned from Meadowlands and downtown; check HSR for fare, schedule, and service updates during fair weekend.
The Demolition Derby runs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The fair welcomes thousands of exhibitors, vendors, and fairgoers each year, with programming that celebrates local agriculture, hands-on learning, and classic fair fun for all ages.
Parking is free at Ancaster Fairgrounds. Accessible spaces are in the first row, a short walk from the gatehouse.

All buildings are ground level. Touchless entry is available at the AEC, Concession foyer, and Marritt Hall; Marritt Hall also has an accessible ramp, and the AEC has a low-profile accessible viewing area. Grounds are asphalt and smooth gravel.
